Dear colleagues,


I'm trying to prepare triphenylphosphine dibromide from triphenylphosphine
and bromine in acetonitrile. Due to the moisture in bromine (or other
reasons) the product contained triphenylphosphine oxide or something els as
indicated by TLC.
Have somebody experience with this compound? How to purify the
triphenylphosphine dibromide from triphenylphosphine oxide and other side
products?
Any help will be very appreciated.
