I am preparing a product
Nitrates by reacting cis-[2-(Bromomethyl)-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]-methyl
Benoate with imidazole (1:3) refluxing in DMA for 3 days. (see Ref.
J.Med.Chem., 2053, 1990). But when I changed the solvent, such as DMA,
DMSO, DMF, the yields is very low, all bellow 50% . I still want to improve
the yields and reduce the ratio of material to imidazole after failed the
experiment many times. I would be great appreciate if someone give me some
useful suggestion to improve the experiment.
Thinks in advance
